Spiritual Families grow not by one person speaking to a group once a week but rather by supernatural multiplication of families being family. Sam shares a prophecy from 2009 claiming Isaiah 60:22 and the smallest family becoming a thousand people.

Notes

In 2009 I was approached by two different brothers saying: I have felt led that New Life is going to go to a 1000.

At the same time the Spirit drew my attention to Isaiah 60:22 which in all my years of reading I had not really noticed before.
Isaiah 60:22 (NIV)
22 The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the Lord; in its time I will do this swiftly.”

Then last week this ten year old prophetic word was quickened to my memory because of the breaking up into smaller families.

I read it in the NLT this time:
Isaiah 60:22 (NLT)
22 The smallest family will become a thousand people, and the tiniest group will become a mighty nation. At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”

Personally I want to grow not from our strategic abilities but because the Lord causes us to grow and to grow as a “family” expanding not a ministry getting big.

I feel prompted to remind us all of this history and if you have faith to pray that God’s grace would turn our small family into a 1000 disciples for His glory.

Remember- Spiritual Families grow not by one person speaking to a group once a week but rather by supernatural multiplication of families being family.
